Originally created for American GIs to bring home as literal souvenirs after the post-war reconstruction of Japan, these vintage Japanese Sukajan/Souvenir Jackets are timeless pieces. These jackets are often made with rayon and silk and, in some cases, were actually constructed from excess silk salvaged from military parachutes.
This special collection of vintage Japanese Sukajans are replicas of 1950s Japanese Souvenir Jackets. Both the front and back showcase beautiful Japanese embroidery and designs, and most are reversible. Carefully selected from Japan, these jackets will continue to turn heads for generations. Wear them, love them, and hand them down.
Flat Measurements:
Please note, jackets are sold as-is. These truly vintage pieces exhibit slight signs of wear and a mild scent from decades in storage. Due to the age of the fabric, it may tear easily and have holes or stains.
